Next time you are in the library check out our magazine rack! We have added several new title to our periodical subscriptions including, Audubon, Backpacker, Boston, Family Circle, Mother Earth News, Oprah, Newsweek, Time and Real Simple. In addition to these new titles we still subscribe to Atlantic, Consumer Reports, Discover, Kiplinger’s, National Graphic, National Wildlife, New Hampshire, New Hampshire Wildlife Journal, Outside, Science News, Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, and Yankee. These publications can be enjoyed in the library or borrowed by patrons.

YOUR NEW LIBRARY MOVES FORWARD – PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO LOOK AT THE TRUSTEES PAGE AND SUBMIT COMMENTS OR VOLUNTEER TO HELP BRING THIS PROJECT CLOSER TO REALITY AS WE WORK ON PLOTTING THE LAND AND EVALUATING LIBRARY STRUCTURES.

The April 10 book club meeting will be CALEB’S CROSSING by Geraldine Brooks facilitated by Julie King. We will be learning more about our Native Americans in the 1600′s as we grew as a nation. Participation has been fantastic this year and this book should continue the trend. Remember we are always looking for the “best” book and welcome your suggestions.

Downloadable Book Program You now have an internet-based library available in your home – come in and get your new 14-digit library patron card to obtain access and information on nh.lib.overdrive.com. These books are now compatible for all e-readers and we are sure many of you will find many interesting books currently available, or in the future by adding your name to the list.

We’re looking for more patrons to “Sponsor an Author” You may choose an author for a substantial savings by having the library purchase the title at wholesale cost. A book plate with your name inside will be inserted and you are the first to read the novel. This not only helps defray the cost of books for your library but it is a wonderful way to support your local library! Authors Joe Coomer, Janet Evanovich, Lisa Gardner and James Patterson are already taken!
