White Birch Books Wish List

Some folks may not know that we have teamed up with White Birch Books to benefit the local business and our collection.  We have a wish list posted on the White Birch Books website (link below) which will allow patrons/friends of the library to purchase an item, read it and then donate it to the library, or just purchase it for donation.  We do ask that if you make this purchase you let us know by phone or e-mail so that we do not duplicate the item.  Thanks for your support!

JACKSON SKI TOURING Library Pass

IT’S A GREAT WINTER TO GET OUT AND SKI!

The Friends of the Library have generously purchased a library pass for Jackson Ski Touring again this year.  The pass is good for one day of skiing for one individual, think of it as a 2 for 1 if you have a friend you are hoping to ski with or go solo.  E-mail the library, with the date you would like to request the pass and if it is available on that date you can take your return e-mail from the library directly to the ticket counter to pick up your day pass.  If you have never had the opportunity to try nordic skiing give it a glide!

ILL IS BACK!

The Interlibrary loan van service facilitated by the New Hampshire State Library will resume service for lending and borrowing materials on 9/15.  The first van delivery for us will be 9/22, however, new Covid protocol will require materials to be quarantined for 72 hours before they are transported on the van and after materials are received.  This means that although the van will make our delivery on Tuesday, requested items will not be available until Saturdays at the earliest.  Please call or e-mail the library with requests.
